TOM R. UHER, CIC, LUTC

Tom Uher, President of CIA, has almost 30 years in the insurance and investment industry; he was originally licensed in 1976. He has been an insurance agent as well as a regional sales manager in his 30+ year career. He graduated from the Life Underwriting Training Council in 1979 and has since obtained numerous licenses. Tom’s current licenses included Property & Casualty, Life & Health, Securities #6 and HMO in addition to a Variable Annuities License. Tom also obtained the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1995.

The CIC designation places an agent in the top 1% of educated insurance professionals. CIC training focuses on the following five areas: Personal Lines of Insurance, Commerical Casualty, Commercial Property, Life & Health and Agency Management. Tom participates in annual seminars in order to retain the designation and keep updated on industry changes. Tom is a member of the Ohio Agency Advisory Council with Hastings Mutual Insurance Company.
